a.  Pengertian

Teks Recount adalah salah satu jenis teks dalam bahasa Inggris yang dikembalikan tentang peristiwa-peristiwa atau pengalaman-pengalaman di masa lampau. Tujuan dari Teks Hitung ulang adalah untuk memberikan informasi atau untuk memudahkan pembaca.

b.  Macam – macam recount teks

1.     Personal Recount Text

Personal recount text adalah jenis recount text yang menceritakan pengalaman pribadi si penulis seperti pengalaman liburan, pengalaman di sekolah atau bahkan pengalaman tak terlupakan yang membuat kita terus mengingat kejadian tersebut.

2.    Imaginative Recount Text

Imaginative recount text adalah jenis recount text yang menceritakan imaginasi penulis tentang suatu hal dan dituliskan dalam bentuk past tense. Pada pembahasan di bawah, kami memberikan contoh imaginative recount text dengan judul spiderman. Silahkan dibaca untuk lebih memahaminya.

3.    Factual Recount Text

Factual recount text adalah jenis recount text yang membahas tentang suatu hal yang benar-benar terjadi (fakta) di masa lampau. Dibawah, kami memberikan contoh factual recount tentang titanic.

4.    Historical Recount Text

Historical recount text merupakan jenis recount text yang membahas tentang sejarah baik itu tempat bersejarah maupun benda bersejarah. historical recount text dengan judul borobudurkami tulis untuk memudahkan kamu dalam memahami historical recount text.

c.   Struktur –struktur recount teks

1.     Orientasi

Yaitu memperkenalkan berisi informasi tentang siapa, di mana dan kapan saja peristiwa itu terjadi di masa lampau.

2.    Acara

Yaitu merupakan rekaman yang terjadi, biasanya disampaikan dalam urutan kronologis, seperti: "Di hari pertama .... Dan di hari berikutnya .... Dan di hari terakhir ...." Pada bagian ini terdapat juga komentar pribadi tentang peristiwa atau peristiwa yang diceritakan.

3.    Reorientasi

Yaitu pengulangan pengenalan yang ada di orientasi, pengulangan tentang rangkuman peristiwa atau peristiwa yang diceritakan.

d.  Ciri ciri kebahasaan recount teks

1.      Menggunakan kalimat dalam bentuk PastTense.

Contoh: Kami pergi ke Bandung tahun lalu, saya sangat senang.

2.    Menggunakan Action Verbs.

Contoh: pergi, membeli, menulis, tidur, dll.

3.    Menggunakan Adverbia dan Frasa Adverbia untuk mengungkapkan waktu, tempat dan cara.

Contoh: kemarin, di sekolah, cepat, dll.

4.    Menggunakan Konjungsi dan Penghubung Waktu untuk mengurutkan peristiwa atau peristiwa.

Contoh: tapi, dan, setelah itu, dll.

Orientation

Last week I went to the theatre. It was the only the a treat my town. I had 1 free ticket to watch a movie. I had no idea about the movie I would like to watch and I did not know the schedule of that theatre. So that, I just wanted to come and see if the rewasany good movie.

Event

I parked my motorcycle at the parking area and I walked slowly at the hall of the theatre. I took my ticket on my wallet and go to the information section to ask about how to use the ticket that day. Unfortunately, I miss edit. The ticket wasal ready expired 2 days before.

I went home and I was very disappointed about that.

Minggu lalu aku pergi ke bioskop. Bioskop itu merupakan satu-satunya bioskop yang ada di kotaku. Aku memiliki satu tiket gratis untuk menonton satu judul film. Aku tidak tahu film apa yang akan aku tonton dan aku sama sekali tidak tahu jadwal film yang akan ditayangkan di bioskop itu. Maka dari itulah, aku hanya ingin datang saja dan melihat-lihat jikalau ada film yang bagus.

Aku memarkir motorku di area parkir lalu berjalan perlahan di hall bioskop itu. Aku keluarkan tiketku dari dalam dompet lalu pergi menuju ke bagian informasi untuk menanyakan penggunaan tiket tersebut. Sayang sekali, aku melewatkan kesempatan tersebut. Tiketku telah hangus sejak dua hari sebelumnya.

Aku pulang ke rumah dan sangat kecewa dengan kejadian itu.

Yesterday my family and I went to the zoo to see the elephant. When we got to the zoo, we went to the shop  to buy some food to give to the animals.

After getting the food, we went to the nocturnal house where we saw birds and reptiles which only come out at night.

Before having lunch, we went for a ride on the elephant. It was a thrill torideit. Dad fell off when he let go off the rope, but he was ok.

During the lunch we fed some birds in the park. In the afternoon we saw the animals being fed. When were turned home we were very tired but happy. It was because we had so much fun activities at many places at the zoo.
